Where a small group of friends can come together yet enjoy privacy at the same time, this incredible villa offers such peace and tranquillity, combining old world charm and modern day comfort. It’s a place where you can breathe.
Cool summers, crisp winters, beautiful night skies, personal space and so many options. There’s something for everyone: the reader, the cook, the wine connoisseur, the beer lover, the cyclist, the history buff, the car enthusiast, the foodie, the entertainer, the artist, the late night philosopher, the antique lover – you can find your passion in Mount Torrens.
Away from the hustle and bustle but vitally central to so much else, this property is under an hour away from the Adelaide Hills cellar doors, The Barossa and McLaren Vale wine regions, Oakbank, Birdwood, Lobethal, the Amy Gillett Bike path, Mount Lofty, Murray Bridge, Mannum, Monarto, Tailem Bend, Adelaide CBD, The Beach, Hahndorf, Strathalbyn, and everything in between.
And after the day’s activities are done, Sinkinson House entices you back to escape to your peaceful stay in this sleepy heritage town.
A peaceful family getaway
We spent a lovely family weekend at Sinkinson House, enjoying both the warmth and hospitality of the house and the Mt Torrens locals. This is a getaway planned at the last minute and we had no idea about Mt Torrens, but its a perfect place to use as a base to explore the Adelaide Hills.…
A place to wind down and be refreshed
This home is beautiful and spacious. Staying here felt like going back in time, but there were also those mod cons that made all the difference like ducted heating and a huge Smart TV for watching movies. Loved that every little detail was taken care of. A meal at the local pub is a must,…
Country charm and feel
I highly recommend Sinkinson House. If you are looking for a getaway in the Adelaide Hills, but close enough to the city and other attractions such as Hahndorf, then here place is perfect. The house is clean, big, the bedrooms loverly – real country charm and feel, and the amenities and garden great.
Long weekend reunion stay
Great property. Fantastic rural location close to a regional town – Woodside. Well laid out with everything you could need. Easy to book and easy to get to. All 7 of use who had our reunion there had a wonderful time.
Ideal Location Spacious House
We found the location of this house to be ideal for exploring the Barossa, McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills. The house was spacious and the rooms and beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the stay and had a great time.
This is a beautiful property, extremely big and spacious (the photos don’t do it justice) and love the fire place and kitchen. An excellent getaway in the hills close to some great food and wine locations too.
